INN THE PINES grows a wide assortment of vegetables, including (but not limited to): lettuce, red and white onions, beets, peas, green and yellow beans, swiss chard, more than thirty varieties of heirloom tomatoes, potatoes, radishes, turnips, peppers, zucchinis, squash, sweet corn, carrots, celery and garlic.
Freshness is very important to us so vegetable planting is staggered to provide a continuous supply. We pick early each morning and, if we run out of a certain item, we can sometimes pick a second time, depending on ripeness and availability.
